It ain't just wood. My insurance rates have gone up 30% since last year even though there's no history of claims. Gas prices are up 66%. The contractor for my pool remodel requoted his bid 30% higher than he gave me just last year, and he's still the cheapest.

Same, insurance rates went up, except i didnt make a claim or anything. This is just hyperinflation not being able to be hidden anymore. The fed is desperately trying to keep inflation under wrap, but i dont think it will last much longer
