They have very large ravens in Alaska. Large salmon, halibut, eagles, cod etc. The squirrels are very small though, the size of chipmunks.

Ravens are pretty ubiquitous, and they are intelligent birds: --opportunistic feeders. Moral of the story: don't drop your steaks in the snow.
