They know what they are, roughly. They know that they aren’t secret tech. Don’t believe the narrative. It’s coming, probably.

Conquer the universe? Maybe parts of a galaxy. Fact is, they’re here to either macro or micro manage us. They have their reasons, but part of being initiated into the galactic community involves ensuring that we don’t end up doing something stupid or potentially dangerous to them. Some of the tech that can be used for infinite energy, for example, can be engineered and utilized by a rogue to be massively more destructive than nuclear energy — easily wiping out entire continents or even planets. They don’t take us lightly.
