Use a different DNS and a VPN and he won't know jack or shit.

OpenNIC is probably the best option at 192.95.54.3

For VPN use anything but a company owned by Kape Technologies. Mullvad probably has the best reputation.

How happy are you with kikelink? Can it be used in a moving vehicle or do you have to be static?

It's the best available where I live by far. It's plenty fast for my use. There is a mobile version but I just have the stationary home one. Up time is great. I'm very satisfied.

"Using while moving" is more dependent on your network (Verizon, AT&T, etc) than it is on the actual app. When we do long trips, we share the driving. I have never had an issue with posting on any of my social media sites, or email, while she drives IF I have a decent signal. Southwest TX was a slight problem but everything worked - eventually.
