BREAKING: James Comer, the ranking member and incoming House Oversight Committee chairman for the next Congress, sent two letters to Twitter demanding its legal team -- including then-deputy general counsel Jim Baker -- "preserve all documents and communications in Twitter's custody" including internal emails referring to the Hunter Biden laptop and/or the October 2020 New York Post story about the laptop. The letters were dated April 20, 2022, and Oct. 28, 2022, which means Baker was on notice not to delete or destroy such records BEFORE he reviewed and pre-screened Musk's release of the so-called Twitter Files focusing on the social media platform's pre-election censorship of that Hunter Biden story.
