As another commenter pointed out, THIS is why not:

There will be so many subject threads in a big dump, it will take months to report out on them. The waiting with selective gatekeeping (ie Twitter internal memos related to Hunter's laptop first, then govt ban requests & portals, then ...) drives me nuts, I'm sure I'm not alone. I also don't want impatience to impede impact.
Maybe some delay is designed to align the most important info releases with a new Congress that is more likely to initiate investigations. The Twitter DMs (and any other hidden comms) will be a goldmine of info behind every important event around the world over the past +/-10 years. There will be plenty to chew on. Probably not all can be revealed.
