Challenge the ban. This whole thing was never going to happen overnight. And Elon claims to be a free speech absolutist but I give that a 0.001% chance of actually being true.

Some of the Twitter rules I'm sure they have to enforce for legal reasons. Like, you can't threaten people with physical harm, shit like that. You can't legit call for terrorism.
Just like I can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater apparently.
So I'm not sure what you mean by "absolutist" exactly, but it's probably worth defining for the purposes of this discussion.
My definition of "absolute free speech" for the purposes of this conversation is simply saying shit that may or may not be offensive, but that also doesn't put someone in danger.. like doxxing people and shit like that.
What I will say is that nothing I tweeted puts anyone in danger in any way. It's offensive at worst. Which, for me, is exactly what I'm testing. Am I allowed to say offensive shit to people which doesn't put them in any physical danger? That's the question.
And they already put me in jail.
Now, granted, I'm unsure how much control Elon really could have after less than a week at the helm.
So I'm not complaining so much..yet. Just testing the boundaries.
I was referring to what I heard his words were in regard to absolutist.
Offend away niggerfaggot!
And even then, I'm not even sure what he considers "absolute free speech".
Because to my ear, "absolute free speech" actually means literally ANYTHING GOES. But then we all know that even if for only legal reasons, anything doesn't go on any of these platforms.
Even here, we don't have absolute free speech. If someone starts saying "I call on you all to go and kill this person", they'd get banned.
It's kinda the same way people throw around the word "democracy" to describe our form of government when in truth, democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner.. all the while, we actually live in a constitutional republic that in theory is supposed to protect the minority...which is contrary to democracy. And yet, so many people refer to us as a "democracy" anyhow.
If nothing else, this conversation further illuminates the bastardization of language in general.
