There's something about it yes

You can't please everyone, while you can fool everyone for a while...

Regulate can mean many things. This includes localized regulation.

I'm pretty sure musk never planned to go against every single EU law, that's a fucking given, he's not "our guy" to begin with and on top of that as @btfo stated he has obligations toward his investors, so bot purge aside, it's not going to turn into a mind boggling revolution

But then you have the question of the TOS, I mean I don't think they are going to make a TOS per country/region, they are going to land a middle ground bulshit 1 size fits all TOS and in the end amerimutt will be "granted" as much freedom of speech as any random eurofag

Now maybe I'm wrong, maybe they'll make a TOS per country/region who knows, but then what about VPNs? Maybe he's getting completely cynical here knowing full well what EU commissioners fail to grasp

Also, what about islamic countries and blasphemy?

My statement isn't exclusive. Best wait and see what happens. His statement easily coincides with the original implementation and does no harm to investors. To the contrary, it increases value by bringing in more users. All new users will leave if EU regulation becomes the definition of "free speech", as clearly it is censorship.

Your interpretation is just that, yours. And it need not require "our guy" status. Whereas your interpretation needlessly requires he's "not our guy" and extremely narrow and harmful in view. Never mind, "our guy", was never topical in the first place.
