There was a post recently about how retarded the youth is and cannot differentiate fact from opinion in reading material. The study itself said something along the lines of how reading has become more difficult because the youth have access to information that isn't pre-screened for truthfulness.
Now when you consider the implications of the later on the former it begs the question on if this is a more recent problem or if people were always this fucking stupid and I side with the latter.
Yeah people are and always have been fucking stupid. The older I get the more obvious this appears to me. I’m blessed with a wonderful daughter but she’s not even yet 10 - she can apply logic to scenarios to reach her own conclusions far better than most adults I know. I don’t want to tell her yet that most people she ever deals with in life will be utter retards, I feel this is an even bigger secret than Santa ever was.
