Any politician voting for this is dead to me. There is no other side or other perspective on this issue. There is already a path to citizenship and they chose not to take it. Get out, start over, and maybe one day you can become a legal resident or citizen.
There is no cruelty in providing the prescribed and known consequences for an intentional act violating another group's sovereignty. They knew full well something bad might happen when they lit that fuse, no matter how long ago it was.
