Then there's DC handing out money to cities and states for doing things that DC deemed needed to be done. .08 BAC is a good example of this, DC withheld gas taxes for interstate maintenance.
Correct. I'm not arguing whether or not the actions taken by the states is good or not, which it's not. I just find it disturbing that people don't know how our government is supposed to work. Makes it pretty easy for them to control everyone if most of the people don't understand the rules. It makes me sick that people will beg for government overreach as long as it aligns with their world view. Very few here on Poal and IRL actually want freedom. They just want the world to burn in the hopes that "their personal idea of freedom" will rise from the ashes.
Nope, I'm with you. I just recognize that to get close to my idea of freedom, I have to use the tools they've setup and put in place.
