Democracy was always gay and jewish (as opposed to jewish and gay) beyond a city-state level as shown by Athens... and even then, to vote you had to have skin in the game, not be a disgrace (faggot), be a Man, own land and generally act like a decent human being working for the betterment of your society in principle.
