I’ve been saying it before him and I’m sure older generations were saying it before us.
The citizens before WWI and the preplanned Pearl Harbor attack before wwII wanted to remain neutral. Then after WWII they somehow convinced the population to become the world police.
I think the 80’s were the only decade without a war since WWII but we still had massive spending and fear mongering for the Cold War as they knew the Soviet Union was headed for collapse, either they knew and were trying to profit as much as possible before the collapsed or the government and all intelligence agencies are incompetent(they are but they can’t be that incompetent).
