When we first started covering 'The Squad,' I remember thinking stories about Ilhan Omar marrying her brother were way over the top and surely couldn't be true. Granted, this was years ago when I was still moderately young-ish and still naive about how evil people can be. Not to mention, any time anyone on the Right even brought it up, the Left would shriek about how racist we all were and babble about conspiracy theorists and xenophobes.
Now, we all know that conspiracy theories are more right than not, but that's another post.
No, no, I was pretty convinced this was fake news ...
And, of course, like so many of these conspiracy theories, it was not fake news.
