Pardoning them would be an admission that they are criminals.

Big difference - many are already charged with crimes, and quite a few are already convicted . None of the dems have even been charged .

Biden pardons criminals before their true crimes are charged and at his last possible minute in office.

Trump pardons innocents after their conviction of false charges and at his first possible minute in office.

Two extremely different pardon scenarios.

He could commute their sentences but they'd still be considered convicts, they just wouldn't serve the rest of their time.
