Did he see his big fat shadow when he emerged? Will he have 6 more years of TDS?

Back in the 1970s I used to think Rob Reiner just played an idiot on "All In The Family." My Dad despised him. I didn't quite understand.

Now that I am much older, I can see exactly why he was successful in playing that role, and yet had an insignificant TV/Film career. He is an idiot.
