NY State has issued a ban for natural gas in new residential buildings, but I can't find any evidence that gas has been shut off in existing buildings. (Except for non-payment and that's a rare occurrence.)
And for a high rise this would be totally impractical. Renovating the proper power into an existing structure of that size would be extremely cost prohibitive.

This is stupid as well.
This is stupid as well.
"Stupid" is what NY State is good at. NY City, too. Then again, the people have the elected legislature they deserve.
Zeldin came close to wining the state. If he runs again he might actually win. It might be bad enough for enough people to wake up.
