We'll be honest: this bill is DOA.

So introducing it is a futile, Quixotic campaign.

But it's a glimmer of hope that one day the DOE -- and many other government agencies (cough IRS cough) will also go by the wayside.

The bill will probably be put on the back stack never to get out of committee but could be revived during Trump2.0 if MAGA controls enough of the house and senate. Or ... if a Federal Deptartment can be created by a President, why can't it be dismantled by one too?

Those are the only possibilities that I can come up with, both need Trump2.0, like many other dead bills.
