Every time I see a comment from you I mean to ask if you really like

My nonna used to make lamb's head, but that's not the same thing.

Can’t say I’ve ever had the opportunity to try goat or lamb’s head soup. Both my mom and grandma were both awesome southern style cooks, but I’ve never knew them to cook any kind of head.

Have had lamb, but never goat meat. How was the lamb’s head?

Lamb's head AKA "Capozell" is one of those dishes that requires some guts (pun intended) to eat. I remember seeing the head on a platter as a kid (again, pun intended) and freaking out. If you push past the freakishness of it the meat is quite tasty.

As an aside, if you grew up in NYC you referred to it as "gaboodzell." It wasn't until I grew a little older that I learned how badly "Italians" pronounced things in Italian.

Lol, I probably would’ve freaked out too as a little kid see’n my grandma walk out of her kitchen with a head on a platter and never slept a good night in her house again.

For some reason or another I’ve known quite a few people from NYC in my lifetime. All of them funny as hell and good friends, except for the Italian ones. Every damn one of them stole from me. So bein’ just like niggers why wouldn’t they fuk up the language.
