Transmission lines do not feed our homes and business. Transmission lines are too high of voltage to be used directly. Distribution lines, which come from power substations which are fed by transmission lines is how we get our electricity delivered. There are many more miles of distribution lines than there are transmission lines, but I'm sure she is using the term to cover both kinds of lines. She's an idiot for sure, but in this case she is equally informed as most average Americans or any other people around the world.
