I also think far more people agree with that statement than the media presents. (And no, I don't have anything other than anecdotal evidence to support that belief.)
This is a point that I bring up when this debate comes up in real life. Libtards like to cite the Pew research overtime. But if you look at the questions Pew is asking, they do not frame the question like we have. It forces people into a very binary, black and white, box. There is nuance. An embryo is certainly not the same thing as a fetus. Even Catholics think there is a "quickening" at some point where the spirit enters the body of the developing baby (meaning, even religious folks recognize that it isn't a purely black and white situation).
I wish pollsters would ask better questions so we could know how people REALLY feel about important topics like Gay Marriage, Gay Adoption, and Abortion.

But that would mean pollsters were genuinely interested in opinions instead of advancing the narrative they're working on.
