Not any more shady than the civilian volunteer oversight of the FDA is 60% conflict of interest working for agriculture firms like Kellogg's, the one that does the genetically altered seed, some with big dairy, big beef, and I'm sure corn and sugar businesses seeing all that poison that the department calls approved. Hell in the end when the government comes down those industries and the ones in the FDA that pushed for their grain or sugar to be considered part of the daily diet when we all know it's pushing heart disease and diebetes and obesity and not the health of the citizens they are there to protect. Some old fuckers that are now retired might be going to jail or fined up the ass when we go over the government and do audits on thier savings and possessions and see that they took expensive vacations and have a few extra rooms in their home or zero interest loans that were just forgiven without payment or they have several $100k cars in the garage. Just follow the money and the crimes will reveal themselves in the process. I can't wait for that covid missing money audit I think it was 1.5 trillion missing, just check their pockets since the ones in charge will surely skimming the most or the fastest.
