In announcing her opposition to Pipeline 3, falsely claims it, along with the Keystone XL pipeline, were designed to export American natural gas abroad.

AOC wants that Buffett money.

Perhaps she already has some.

After the Canada US free trade deal was passed, big American oil invested heavily into developing the Alberta tar sands, with the goal of bringing that discount dirty oil from Alberta down to Texas, to refine it with the refineries they already own into valuable retail products for resale.

The plan all along was to build that pipeline from Alberta to Texas to move this oil. The Bush family were major supporters of the pipeline, and the American oil industry in general.

Meanwhile, the industry without their pipeline has to ship the oil by rail, which costs a lot more, to the great profit of the railways.

Billionaire Warren Buffett financed Obama to become president, and Buffett also bought the Burlington Northern railway at roughly the same time.

Obama killed the pipeline.

So now the Canadian Pacific railway picks up the oil in Alberta, and hands it off to the Burlington Northern railway on the American side of the border.

Buffett made immense profits shipping all of that oil. Fuel prices to the end users were higher as a result.

When Trump was president, one of the first things he did was to restart that pipeline. He doesn't need Warren's money.

Environmentalism has nothing to do with any of this deal.

The oil is going to be moved anyways. The only question is who is getting paid to do it.
