But in this case, the prosecutor stands with rioters. Why? Because that is a position he must take if he hopes to secure a conviction. The prosecutor only cares about bringing about convictions, winning cases. Another notch on his belt. He wants to win this high profile case so badly, he cares little about the obvious innocence of the defendant.. that gets in the way of his precious conviction.
