I guess at election time there will be new Sheriff in that town. Hell I would not be surprised after this some communities start work on wall to make them gated communities instead to keep protesters from ever putting anyone in that possition of having to pull out guns to protect their property. I only say this assuming this entire area is middle upper middle class home owners.
The community where this happened was already a gated one. The 'protesters' broke the fence and went in. (There are photos of it.)
It would be nice to be able to legally get away with releasing some very vicious guard dogs on the protesters but not just vicious but fast with a bite that'll break bones.
Nah, the dogs might get hurt.
I thought it was just their property that was gated not the entire area. They need to get some armed security and insurance for damage and liability and the insurance companies will find and have arrested for real any people that cause damage since insurance companies are cheap and will track everyone down and likely sue whoever was in charge of the group aka arranged the protest and will also sue the town for not having police that are supposed to secure the area but abandoned their duty so the town would pay big.
The community already has a security team. They were (obviously) not doing their jobs.
