It's endemic in wild bird populations. Their goal is to destroy food production abilities of Western countries. I also expect them to aggressively go after back yard chickens and small scale (people who run a few head for personal consumption) cattle farmers. They hate anyone with even the slightest bit of independence. They are planning a famine that will make the Holodomor look like a picnic.
