I remember a petite woman from our Sunnyvale facility visiting our plant circa 1995. She was wearing colored contacts, it was the first time I ever knew they existed, she had the most extraordinary eyes. She drove me nuts.

Colored contacts seem like a better solution to me.

I had a buddy back in the early 90's that had this smokin hot little brunette gf that always wore purple shirts, sweaters, and jackets with purple contacts. It drove all the guys nuts!!! Sexy as all get out.

Sounds like the same woman! Lol!

That makes sense if you already wear contact lenses.

I think this is more than wanting to look good during the day. It bothers them that their eyes are still brown when they take the lenses out. They don’t want to dress up like up like us every day. They want their eyes to be colored just like ours. They want to feel like they’re one of us.

I read about this years ago. It was an offshoot of the Lasik trend. Blindness within 3 years is the most common side effect.

Don't fuck with your eyes, people

The article mentions previous Lasik surgery as a risk factor. If cosmetic keratopigmentation was marketed to those people first there would have been higher rates of side effects.

Even if you haven’t had Lasik you shouldn’t do something risky like this just to change your eye color. It shows how desperate some people are to look European.

There is the endless supply of jeets.

We invent the skin bleaching machine = endless profit

In Japan they have had skin bleaching creams for years. I don’t know how well they work, but being pale skinned has been important for a lot of Japanese women. Many of them avoid getting tanned.

Can we invent a machine that ends the endless supply? Profit more.

Machine guns have already been invented.

I like my brown eyes; they go well with my beard.
