Today I was thinking about the term patriarchy. It's true. We used to have patriarchy, but we also had a true matriarchy. Ultimately, we used to have a patri-matriarchy. What that means is that men were being fathers, and women were being mothers. If you get rid of either one, society will be destroyed.
