For the longest time, if one would make false claims against you, they would bear the FULL CONSEQUENCE of whatever sentence you were to receive.

It's in the bible too. Some jews made false claims about woman and servant. When asked where they witnessed it what tree they hid behind, they implemented themselves.

Not just women, but anyone who should receive (at minimum) the fullest punishment for their lies.
