Your fundamental misunderstanding is where the fairness delusion is coming from. You wouldn't have the nerve to tell a fatherless child raised in poverty and violence for reasons outside his control any of that if you heard him complain, and while that might be a somewhat extreme case the reality is the loss of the family and tribe have been ruinous for us all but particularly those deprived.
