You're welcome and thank you!
To clarify; I'm not saying that slaves were not sold from this jew synagogue, just that I am not able to find anything to verify that they were with the materials and information that I am aware of.
It seems strange to me, though, that this specific synagogue was chosen for the image for the statement of jews selling slaves from it instead of one of their many other synagogues from that time. It being chosen makes me think that the creator likely had some information or documentation supporting that statement for them to decide to make this image stating that about this specific synagogue.
That assumes the creator was someone trying to share truthful information though, but then why not include the source for that information so it could be verified?
It could be that it was chosen for the image simply because it is the oldest of their synagogues still standing from that era and because it was made a national historical site.
As I hadn't come across anything about this before, and as I can't find anything to verify the statement (yet), I don't know if it is true or not, which sucks.

They most certainly discussed/negotiated prices there before getting to the pier to get their loot.
My guess is that they chose it to show people it was jews who were predominantly running the slave trade and owned plantations.
