You could argue that at least we can get a voice for a brief moment. It's not nearly as toxic now that the majority of the bots are gone or at least aren't first-100th billing .00000000002 seconds after op hits send.
When I follow a thread, I don't get enraged anymore. Sure, there are gov bots, liberal idiots, and other ill informed people, but it's not overwhelming as before.
So in my mind, it's not the haven we hoped it would be. It's still a honeypot, liberal free speech website, but a lot less infuriating one

This is why you need to be on the lookout for agitators that help governments pass laws restricting freedom of speech. It's not just a buzzword. If you lose the right to the First Amendment, they will send jackboots to your door and throw you in prison. Europe already lives with this tyranny. They want to bring it to the US, desperately.
