In Florida, the Family Protection Act (the protesting leftists called it the don't say gay act in widely publicized news coverage) is an example of this Overton Window Shift. The Family Protection Act forbids teaching children in public schools in K-4th Grade about homo-shit. The news showed crying liberals wiping their eyes with rainbow handkerchiefs at losing in court and Gloating Conservatives cheering the win for the Right.

...But how the fuck is allowing public schools to teach 5th Graders (and on) about homo-shit a win for conservatives? They just shifted the Overton Window.

This shouldn't be taught to kids at all. Like touching a red-hot coal on a campfire, there's some things kids need to learn for themselves.
