The Bible tells us that most Jews have always been schmucks. Just look at Jacob, who stole his brother’s blessing and his birthright. And then afterwards we see the story of Laban vs. Jacob - aka two jews trying to out-jew each other. Of course we know that Jacob won that jew contest because he stole most of Laban’s cattle, and of course the household gods as well. And then the rest of the story of the O.T. is the Israelites worshiping every god under the sun except their own God Yahweh. That’s why they were kicked out of the promised and and dispersed among the nations. Jesus was Yahweh manifest in the flesh: “he came to his own, but his own received him not”. The jews crucified their God, and because of their rejection of Jesus the Christ, salvation was offered unto the gentiles instead. And the jews will continue to worship Baal and all of the other gods until they gaze upon him whom they pierced.
