Living in a city, especially a big city is cancer to the soul.
Sadly I am not where I was when we did this but one time we took some "city" family out on a dirt road. No houses/lights for miles.
Got out of the car and told them that I was going to turn off the lights and to not freak out.
They had no idea what the night sky is supposed to look like. It was a life changing event.
I miss the sky.
