This whole idea of pride is dangerous, no matter the reason. Sure, I can be proud of something I accomplished, but to tell people to be proud of a trait is not good. Be proud of mutilating yourself? Be proud of injecting yourself with dangerous poison? Seriously?

1. You should have humble confidence, not pride.
2. Having pride in what you are is the lowest. All you're doing is putting a label on yourself and letting that make you feel good about yourself.

Anyone who has to pretend to be something they aren't and never will be, doesn't have pride. They are a sickly ill, mental case, are a coward and dangerous, dysfunctional moron with a mutilated mind, soul and body.
