Not that regular gambling is any better, but this is from a slot tournament, where they have a short time limit to win the most credits, so the natural strategy is to get as many spins into that time limit as possible. Every 2nd press of the button stops the spin, so they fit 8-10 spins into the time of one normal spin. You’re not going to walk into a normal casino and just see rows of open-mouthed people slapping buttons nonstop

I went to Gulfport/Biloxi recently. I had some free time, and it was raining. So I went to the Hard Rock casino and just walked around. I saw people stuck on machines while smoking. I was surprised to see that people actually do that.
