I realized years ago. Fairness is a concept for children and idiots.

Even if something is unjust you must either do something about it or learn to live with it. Any other mindset is only going to be a disservice to you and anyone else that relies on you, especially your children watching and learning. It's easier said than done but a reality nonetheless.

Truth feels fine actually. I can live with that.
