I called a boomer whoever falls into the line of thinking described in the post. It's frankly childish. The whole idea of "treason" rests upon a belief that some arbitrarily defined geographical area ruled over by some assholes is somehow valid and can be betrayed. Silly fairy-tales for gullible people.
lol IIRC all the members of the government took an oath to uphold the Constitution. They should remain liable for running the country into the ground.
They can take all the oaths they want. The Constitution has been re-interpreted so many times, even at the start of the so-called "republic", that it can mean anything that anyone wants it to mean. An oath to the Constitution is meaningless.
