I'm fine with California doing this as long as the receive no money from the federal government. If they have money to piss away on this they should not receive tax money collected from the other states.

But you know that won’t happen. They’d get the money from the Feds. If nothing else, they’ll bankrupt themselves even more than they already are and then say that if the Feds don’t bail them out, the state will collapse.
