Only MODERN Christianity is obsessed with guilt and turning the other cheek, and only because of jewish subversion of how our ancestors saw things. Our ancestors didn't just throw the damn jews out 109 times because they were allowing themselves to be guilt tripped, instead they got INCREDIBLY violent when you fucked with them(as they should have of course). So yes AOU likely has it correct that the real reason is white empathy, the inherent compassion for our own kind that can be subverted to produce such modern drivel as the guilt tripping and "judeo Christian values" we see today.
