It's not blocked at the ISP level. It's OyVeySee doing the geo-censoring at the user's channel level.

They have to follow the laws where they operate. It says right there in the screenshot: "... host content that is illegal according to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany"

Also worth noting that Odysee is built on LBRY and all content posted on LBRY network cannot be removed. As long as someone is P2P hosting the content it will be there. If you are in Germany you can still access it via the blockchain using the LBRY Desktop client: https://lbry.com/windows

If the content is blocked in jewrmany, that means they are renting servers there, which is completely retarded knowing your user base has been sharing JQ related content (since they started this service) that is considered illegal in jewrmany.

I don't think its hosting. In order for them to do business with German citizens (channel/Odysee memberships) they need to follow German laws for those citizens. If they don't then they cant do memberships for content like .

Sounds like a fair compromise to me. They are not blocking the content for non-German citizens as far as I can tell.
