my in-laws are both mds (now retired and in their 80's.) they would never admit to being racist, but neither would ever see a doctor who was (a) foreign trained, or (b) black. they value their heath too much for that.

Yeah, years ago my white thyroid doctor who shared building space with several of them (blacks), sternly warned me not to deal with them. But I done knowed that already.
