There is plenty of hyperpolitics and over exaggeration of emotions to be found in other people's reactions to this event so I chose to take a different point of view. It is the human condition to not lose sleep over an event or happening that does not involve one's own situation. If we didn't have this important filter, we would be paralyzed with emotion and fear and would surely die off as a species because of the inability to separate ourselves from the tragedies of others.
