Once every couple of years you should tip the dryer forward and take off the back panel to clean the vents. They're pretty big and it takes a toilet brush to do it. Trust me, you won't regret it when one of the hi temp fusible links severs because it got too hot back there and you have to do it anyway. This way the honey isn't so anxious for you to buy a new one because she has to wait three days for the part to arrive. I keep a spare taped to the back of the dryer now.
