[–] 1 pt

When I was a teenager, I used to listen to old people talk about niggers and think, "That's really racist, I'm glad I don't have such narrow, hateful attitudes towards black people." Now that I am older myself, I realize that age gives one perspective on social and political issues that youth does not have, and cannot possibly have. My attitudes toward niggers are very similar to the attitudes of those I used to be embarrassed to listen to, fifty years ago. I realize that they were correct, and that younger me was a fool. I'm not a racist, I'm a racial realist. I've stopped denying reality. There are racial differences, and they are very important.
