No, just a really good Mother and I think I managed to avoid any bad people, so all the stuff that might have gone wrong I was just totally unaware of. it was an odd area, poor urban 'village', but really spread out so a lot of green spaces. towns were much quieter back then
I live out in a rural area now and wish I'd moved earlier, it's really nice just having normal White people around you
