Not all coal power is created equal. Chinese coal? Toxic, pollutive, etc. US Coal that's regulated out the wazoo? Still pollutes but far far less than China's. Now, natural gas powered? That's a far cleaner source. And in fact, you can have carbon neutral natural gas powered electricity. Don't let the vegan extremist and 'green' idiots fool you - natural gas and nuclear are super clean sources of power.
