You don't even need a new variant. The antibodies diminish over a few months or so. It's the new subscription model for vaccines. Sort of like cigarettes, but the wrong end of a gun provides the motivation instead of the addiction.

It's also pretty damn clever how they have people get the jab, then because they've already gotten it they are less likely to care about what is being done to the unvaxxed, since they've already paid the price. fortunately (and surprisingly many of the people that I met that took the jab are still opposed to it being mandatory. Many of them are like fine I took it but Im not taking any boosters and my kids sure as fuck aren't taking it (these are all guys though)
