The number of recent comments comparing this sort of thing to Hitler is truly mind numbing. The gruesome medical experiments were performed by the jews and shut down by Hitler.
It's as if WWII never happened or there's some alternate reality where the fascists won. They cannot reconcile the fact that their "good guys" won and things are worse than ever.
The reality is that the communists won WWII and this is the result of communist ideology taken to its logical conclusion.
The funny thing is that boomers hated Soviet Russia but somehow it was ok fighting the Germans. Then they idolize Finnish snipers like Simo Häyhä who repelled the Soviet invasion of their land in WWII in some kind of bizarre mental disconnect. Ridiculous.

Nothing seems to matter about a given topic except which side the "attaboys" are on and the narrative is reverse engineered from there.

One tact I've taken with the uninformed is to ask them this simple question: "Isn't it odd that the 'good guys' won every single war in the last few hundred years? Could it be that it's more complicated than 'good guy vs. bad guy'?"
This is a question designed to make someone question things and do their own research and reach better-informed conclusions.
